We can confirm that Ways Forward 7 will be happening this year, at Methodist Central Hall Manchester as in previous years.
It’s a bit later than usual, on Friday 5th April – yes, we are risking our sanity by organising a conference a week after the Brexit date and living life on the edge. We will, of course, leave more flexibility than usual in the timetable to deal with urgent issues and repercussions.
We are also happy to announce that this year’s conference is a partnership production, between Cooperative Business Consultants (who initiated the conference series back in 2014) and the Platform 6 Development Co-operative, the new, grassroots UK fund and forum for cooperative development.
Between us, we are trying to create enough autonomy for Ways Forward that future events can be managed by whichever collaborative partners come forward to take it on.
